Calling All Citizen Bloggers

Are you passionate about the Cape Cod community? Do you have a blog or have you considered starting one? Why blog on a faceless platform when you can become a part of Cape Cod's #1 community website?

We refer to the the folks who blog on collectively as “Blog Chowder” because they all add their own personal point of view and flavor to the mix.

Topics are varied, and most if not all bloggers are Cape Codders or write about Cape Cod. You'll find unique and personal opinions and posts on everything from sports and politics to local town government and hiking to name a few.

Your blog is entirely your own and you are responsible for its content. It will be searchable on Google and featured on and in our subscriber emails and Facebook page.

There are just a few simple rules:

  • The best blogs are the ones that are updated at least once a week. So don't let yours grow cobwebs.

  • We prefer blogger to live on the Cape and blog about the Cape. If you don't live on the Cape, the blog should be about the Cape.

  • We don't edit or change your blogs, so make sure you check for spelling and enhance it with images and video if you like.

  • We reserve the right to pull any post with content we deem inflammatory or vulgar.

  • Do not copy and paste from other sources. Link as you like, but express yourself.

  • Blogs cannot be anonymous. Express your views and let the world know who you are!

  • No business blogs—if you want to advertise, our rates are more than reasonable!
