Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod to sponsor applicant workshop

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod (HHCC) will be hosting a workshop at 7pm on Tuesday, August 30th at Eldredge Public Library in Chatham for potential applicants for the four affordable 3-bedroom homes planned for Chatham in 2006.

Information presented will include: criteria for eligibility, house type and construction schedule, how to apply, what documentation will be required with the application, credit concerns, and requirements about sweat equity and mortgage payments.

Applications will be available on Sept 14th

Three homes will be reserved for residents of the Town of Chatham (including those now living or employed in town or who attended high school there or have immediate family ties); one is available to resident and non-resident applicants. Eligible applicants will have incomes at or below 65% of median income ($42,705 for a family of 4).
