One Ottaway newspaper's Thumbs Down...

...is another Ottaway newspaper's Thumbs Up. 

While our own daily has yet to report the best piece of news to come out of the Wind Farm saga in the past 3-1/2 years, its sister newspaper The Standard-Times in Southeastren Massachusetts seems to be ahead of this curve as well as others. Here's the last item in yesterday's "Thunmbs Up, Thumbs Down Editorial;

Clean power candidate

Thumbs up for gubernatorial candidate Deval Patrick, who has the guts and intelligence to back the wind power project proposed for Nantucket Sound. Gov. Mitt Romney and Attorney General Tom Reilly have been outspoken opponents of the wind power project that would provide enough electricity for 75 percent of the Cape. At a time when the region is worried about natural gas shortages and high oil prices, Mr. Deval is one of the only major candidates to show some common sense. (See last item here.)
