Falmouth Calls on Businesses Seeking Summer Employees

Chamber seeks local employers looking to fill summer positions with Falmouth HS students

FALMOUTH, MA - The Falmouth Chamber of Commerce is seeking local employers who are looking to fill summer employment positions with Falmouth High School students.

Two years ago the Falmouth Chamber began an initiative to match local businesses with high school students looking for summer employment. The arrangement seeks to help both parties that otherwise would have little contact with each other.

The initiative was launched when Christine Ross, Executive Director of the Falmouth Chamber and its Board of Directors offered an honorary membership to Dr. Peter Clark. Superintendent of Falmouth Public Schools in December 2003. Ms. Ross and Dr. Clark have sought to build a mutually beneficial relationship between the business and education sectors of the town.

The deadline for job entries is Friday, May 12th so that the Chamber has time to get in touch with Falmouth High School. Please send information on the jobs/positions you are looking to fill this summer and your contact information to Jenn Perrault at [email protected].
