Sailors rescued off Dennis

Sailors rescued off Dennis
DENNIS - Two people are safe after a rescue in the waters off Dennis this afternoon. It started when eyewitnesses saw a catamaran capsize. The catamaran then washed ashore at Raycroft Beach with no one on it. Harbormaster vessels from Dennis & Yarmouth along with rescuer crews began a  search and quickly pulled the two people from the water about a 1/2 mile off shore wet but uninjured.
One of the two sailors who identifies himself as Patrick contacted Cape Wide News to express his gratitude: "I'm one of those sailors that was plucked out of the sound. A huge THANK YOU to eveyone that helped, from the ones that saw my boat and called 911 to the harbor masters, to the rescue team that was on shore."
