Chatham bicyclist struck by vehicle

Bicyclist struck in Chatham
CHATHAM
- A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Chatham. It happened about 5:15 Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Main Street and Crowell Road. Rescuers called for a Medflight helicopter but it was too far away so 20-year old Martin Kopka of Slovakia was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital. Chatham Police are still investigating and no charges have been filed against the driver 27-year old Tyler Crocker of Brewster. Posted on 8/13 at 12:00 AM; updated on 8/13 at 9:00 AM.
