Operator injured in Falmouth motorcycle crash
FALMOUTH
- One person was injured in an early morning motorcycle crash in Falmouth Tuesday. The crash happened on the ramp from Route 28 to Thomas B. Landers Road about 1:30 AM. Reports say the bike struck left the road onto the grass and slid a distance along a guardrail. The operator 33-year old Andrew D. Friel of Falmouth who was discovered a short distance from the crash was taken to Falmouth Hospital with what was described as non life-threatening injuries. Crews had to clean up debris that was scattered over a distance of some 700 feet. Falmouth Police are investigating the crash and believe speed was a factor. Charges are pending.
