Falmouth Xmas Parade Canisters Now Around Town

Your coins and dollar bills will help produce the 43rd Annual Christmas Parade

FALMOUTH - As part of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade Committee's annual fundraising efforts, more than 250 coin canisters have been placed in businesses throughout Falmouth. If you see a Christmas Parade Canister please know that every coin and dollar bill counts and consider making a donation.

The proceeds of the funds raised will be used to produce the 43rd Annual Christmas Parade. This year's Parade theme is "A Hometown Christmas."

Returning to the parade this year are the Hallamore Clydesdale Horses and Bob Shaw's English Shires which will pull a traditional wedding carriage. Along with these wonderful horses, seven local bands, the Shriners Fire Brigade Clowns and the Cape All-Star Cheerleaders will perform and entertain the crowd. Per tradition, local organizations and businesses have been busy decorating floats that will also glide down Main Street.

If you are a business owner and are willing to place a canister in your business, please contact the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce at (508) 548-8500 and speak to Betty or Alice.

Thank you to all of the merchants, businesses and their employees who currently have canisters. If they get full, simply call the Chamber and the canister will be replaced with a new one.
