PROVINCETOWN
- Two women are safe after a close call in Provincetown. Just after noon the two were walking across the popular West End Breakwater to Long Point seen above.

The high tide reportedly covered a section of the breakwater and the two were caught in the current when they tried to cross according to an eyewitness.

They were pulled to safety by bystanders and then rescued by Provinctown Harbormaster boat and brought to Macmillan Wharf.

They were evaluated at the pier by Provincetown EMTs. Posted on 10/09 at 4:00 PM. Photos by Tim Caldwell.
