Pickup having brake work rolls across Route 6A into house
ORLEANS
- Authorities say it was a miracle no one was injured after this scene in Orleans. A Ford Ranger pickup reportedly having brake work done at the Midas in Orleans around 11:30 AM apparently rolled backwards out of the service bay, across Route 6A without striking any vehicles, and struck the historic Boland House circa 1750 across the street. The house was not seriously damaged but the bed of the pickup was. Orleans Police are investigating the incident. Further details were not immediately available. Posted on 10/26 at 3:00 PM.
