Brewster firefighters rescue boaters after ordeal at sea
BREWSTER - A Brewster Fire Department rescue boat came to the rescue of two stranded boaters. A sailboat reportedly lost its mast in Cape Cod Bay off Brewster sometime after 9 PM. Rescuers were able to launch their boat and rescue the victims cold but uninjured. Posted on 11/05 at 12:00 AM. 

Harwich Police investigate late morning crash

HARWICH - Harwich Police are investigating a this collision between a pickup and a car late Saturday morning.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Lower County Road and Earle Road about 11:30 AM.

HPD Ofc. Paul Ulrich is seen here comforting a victim. He is also holding her neck stable until EMTs can put a collar on her as a precaution against spinal injury.

Van crashes into college building
- No injuries were reported when this Toyota Sienna mini van crashed through a plate glass window at Cape Cod Community College. The crash happened about 10:45 AM at the Tilden Arts Center building on the campus.

Barnstable Police are investigating if a mechanical failure may be to blame. Luckily being a weekend the normally crowded college was relatively empty and no one in the building was injured either. Posted on 11/05 at 12:00 AM. Photo courtesy of Frank Paparo/NEVN.

Man injured in construction accident
- A construction worker suffered a possible fractured leg in an accident on the job site in Mashpee Saturday morning. Rescuers were called to a Fairway Lane location shortly after 10 AM when the man had become pinned between two vehicles. He was Medflighted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Posted on 11/05 at 12:00 AM; updated on 11/05 at 9:00 AM.
