5 rescued after boat capsizes
ORLEANS
- 5 people were rescued after a harrowing ordeal at sea. The Coast Guard reports around 4 PM two boats reportedly capsized off Nauset Beach in Orleans reportedly leaving the people on board clinging to the hull of a 17 footer while the other vessel a 14 footer sank. Another vessel plucked the victims to safety. With seas too rough for firefighters to launch their boat a Coast Guard helicopter and vessel came to the rescue.
