FALMOUTH - A driver was seriously injured in this nasty crash in Falmouth at the intersection of Gifford Street and Jones Road about 10 PM Sunday evening. This Pontiac Grand Am was sliced open and had its front end ripped off after striking another car followed by a utility pole and tree. (that is the same vehicle in both pictures). Rescuers called for a Medflight helicopter for 44-year old Randall Conroy of Falmouth but bad weather grounded it so he was rushed to Falmouth Hospital and later driven to a Boston Hospital. Falmouth Police believe speed was  factor. The driver of the other car 55-year old Michelle Talbot of RI escaped with only minor injuries. Posted on 11/12 at 11:00 PM; updated on 11/13 at 6:30 PM.
