Mashpee Commons crash; Pair arrested on marijuana charges after traffic stop

Three arrested in drug raid in Falmouth
FALMOUTH - The Falmouth Police Drug Task Force along with the Barnstable County Sheriff's department acting on citizen complaints executed a search warrant at a home on Trotting Park Road and arrested two men and a woman there. 62-year old James Andrews was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of class E, conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws, and possession of ammunition. 35-year old David Rose was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws. 21-year old Elizabeth Jackson was charged with knowingly being present where heroin is kept and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Officers seized a quaint of cocaine, heroin and prescription drugs as well as a plethora of needles and drug paraphernalia along with a replica Walther PPK 9MM handgun. All three are expected to be arraigned in Falmouth District Court on Wednesday. Posted on 12/05 at 8:30 PM. 

Driver narrowly misses Stop & Shop at Mashpee Commons
MASHPEE - A driver reportedly narrowly missed crashing into the Stop & Shop at the Mashpee Commons shortly before 5 PM Tuesday. Reports say the vehicle damaged a light pole but spared the building any damage. The driver also escaped injury. Mashpee Police are investigating. Further details were not immediately available. Pair arrested on Marijuana charges after traffic stop in Dennis
- Two men were arrested on drug charges after a routine traffic stop in Dennis Monday night. Police say about 7:45 PM Ofc. Henry Jessop spotted a white Ford Focus allegedly speeding on Route 134 and stopped it. Ofc. Jessop reportedly noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A subsequent search found more than two ounces of marijuana wrapped for resale in plastic baggies with an estimated street value of $600. 21-year old Matthew Roy of East Dennis and 17-year old Michael Kimball of Hyannis were both arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute class D. Roy was also cited for speeding. Both men were released on their own recognizance and scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning in Orleans District Court. Posted on 12/05 at 2:30 PM.
