Cotuit Center for the Arts announces auditions for "The Elephant Man"

The Cotuit Center for the Arts announces auditions for THE ELEPHANT MAN

Auditions will be held on January 7th, 8th and 9th at 7pm (or by appointment) for THE ELEPHANT MAN by Bernard Pomerance.

There are parts available for 4+ men and 3+ women of all ages and types.

Production dates are slated for March 15-April 7, 2007.

Auditions will be held at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Rte. 28 in Cotuit.

Based on the life of John Merrick, a Victorian Englishman doomed by his grotesquely deformed body to the life of a sideshow freak until he was befriended by a London doctor. This Tony-Award-winning play is a thoughtful and theatrical exploration of what it means to be human.
