Woman reportedly attacked outside mall
HYANNIS - Police are investigating a reported assault outside the Cape Cod Mall late Wednesday night. They were called to the Barnes & Noble entrance around 10:30 PM. The victim reportedly an employee of the mall was taken to CCH after apparently being struck in the head by a rock but is expected to be okay. Officers including a K-9 unit searched the area. The incident comes 8 days after 5 employees of American Eagle Outfitters were reportedly robbed while depositing the receipts at the Mall. Further details were not immediately available. Posted on 12/28 at 7:00 AM.
