Drivers escape serious injury in Centerville crash
CENTERVILLE
- No serious injuries were reported in this two vehicle crash in Centerville late this afternoon.

The crash happened on Phinney's Lane at Laura Road when this car collided with a Jeep.

Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.

Water main break closes streets in Hyannis
HYANNIS - A major water main break forced the closure of some streets in Hyannis Wednesday morning.

The break occurred about 10 AM at the intersection of South Street and Pleasant Street. Crews had to dig up the street to make repairs.

Its not clear what caused the main to fail.

Man arrested for OUI drugs in Yarmouth
YARMOUTH
- A traffic stop led to a Centerville man being charged with operating under the influence of drugs. It started about 2:30 AM when Patrol Officer Richard Fitcher Jr. spotted a Honda speeding on Route 28 and reportedly cross over the double yellow line. Ofc. Fitcher stopped the vehicle and determine the operator did not have his license in his possession and the registration plates did not match the vehicle. Police say 36-year old Darin Selby reportedly failed sobriety tests. Ofc. Fitcher who is a certified Drug Recognition Expert-determined that the operator was under the influence of a mixture of Marijuana, Percocet, Valium, and Alcohol. Selby was charged with OUI drugs, speeding, operating to endanger, attaching plates, and operating an unregistered vehicle. He was due to be arraigned Wednesday in Barnstable District Court. Early morning crash on Main Street near West End Rotary in Hyannis
HYANNIS
- An unusual scene in Hyannis after this vehicle apparently crashed near the West end rotary and wound up on the curb in front of the Bank of America.

The drivers condition could not immediately be confirmed. A Cape Wide News reader caught the scene and sent in this photo.
