Osterville - Cape Cod Academy used a balanced attack to roll over Sturgis Charter Public School by a score of 6-0 in varsity girls soccer action Wednesday at Seapuit Field on the CCA campus in Osterville. CCA striker Kendra Hickman netted a hat trick to lead the Seahawks scoring.

Sturgis kept things close in the 1st period with good defensive play from their backfield including strong efforts by Stephanie Fratus and Tachelle Allen. CCA's Hickman scored twice in the period, giving the Seahawks a 2-0 advantage at the half.

After the break, CCA went on the offensive with several flurries around the Sturgis goal until co-captain Amani El Serahwey finally scored from the left side. This was followed quickly by Hickman's third goal, a tap-in on an assist from Abby Doyle. Doyle herself scored on a solo breakaway a few minutes later and Caroline Welch capped off the Seahawks scoring with a strike from the right wing.
