South Dennis rear-end collision sends two to hospital
The force of the collision sent the Toyota into a Honda Pilot in front of it. The Honda driver was able to move her vehicle from the roadway to a parking lot across the street. Dennis EMTs extracted the two occupants of the Toyota and transported them to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Both the Honda and Toyota -- which received significant damage to the front and rear -- had to be hauled from the scene by Silver Cloud Towing. The Ford driver was cited by Dennis police for failure to use care in stopping. (Story and photos by Kevin Morley/CWN)

The drivers, who were the sole occupants of each vehicle, initially refused treatment though the airbags in the car had deployed. About 20 minutes after the collision the driver of the Gallant, who had been sitting in a police cruiser prior to being driven home, suddenly required medical attention. A Dennis ambulance returned to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital with unknown injuries. (Story and photos by Kevin Morley/CWN).
