Dennis, Harwich, Hyannis crashes

T-bone at Trotting Park in West Dennis

    
This Honda Accord entered the intersection at Trotting Park Rd. and Route 28 and was t-boned by a Mazda pickup.
WEST DENNIS
- The Dennis Fire Department received a call at 1:38 a.m. Sunday morning from Dennis Police reporting a collision between a Mazda pickup truck and a Honda Accord at the intersection of Route 28 and Trotting Park Road in West Dennis. The Mazda, headed west on Route 28, t-boned the Honda as it entered the intersection from the south. The drivers were the sole occupants of the vehicles. The driver of the pickup appeared unhurt but the driver of the Honda was transported to Cape Cod Hospital by Dennis ambulance with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening. Dennis Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Car vs SUV rear-ender in Harwich

    
This Toyota rear-ended a Lexus SUV waiting to make a left turn onto Gilbert Lane.
HARWICH
- A northbound Toyota Corolla sedan rear-ended a Lexus RX330 SUV at the intersection of Sisson Road (Route 39/124) and Gilbert Lane around 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The Lexus was apparently waiting to make a left turn onto Gilbert Lane when it was hit by the Toyota. Harwich Fire and Rescue responded to the scene with an engine and ambulance. Harwich Police blocked northbound travel onto Sisson Road from Route 28 while the accident scene was secured and the Toyota hauled away. The left front end of the Toyota was badly damaged yet there was no air-bag deployment. The Lexus, which the driver was able to move to a nearby restaurant parking lot, appeared relatively unscathed by the collision. The ambulance transported a victim to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. (Story and photos by Kevin Morley/CWN).

One injured in Hyannis crash
HYANNIS
- At 2 p.m. Saturday, Hyannis Fire and Barnstable Police responded to a crash with injury in front of Jiffy Lube at Pitchers Way and Bearses Way in Hyannis.

A dark Chevy Malibu had t-boned a grey Volvo sedan on the drivers side.

The Hyannis rescue  transported a female victim to Cape Cod Hospital.

Barnstable Police are investigating.
