Assault and battery, OUI  and breaking and entering top arrests

HARWICH - During the period of Sunday, July 12 through Sunday, July 16, the officers of the Harwich Police Departmentresponded to 455 calls for service. The arrests below are the result of the week's activity.

Arrested PersonIncident, Arresting Officer

Marcus Gipe, of Sisson Road in Harwich, was arrested by Officer Brian Cranshaw during a traffic stop on a Default Warrant.

Steven Young, of Crowell Road in Chatham, was arrested by Officer Paul Boorack during a domestic violence call for Domestic Assault.

Emily Simard, of Oxford Road in Wellesley, was arrested by Sergeant John Sullivan during a vehicle stop for Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Katherine Peter, of Crowell Road in Chatham, was arrested by Officer Paul Boorack during a vehicle stop on a Warrant.

Allen Malloy, of East Cross Street in Norwood, was arrested by Officer Keith Kannally on a Warrant during a call for service.

Scott Sawin, of Grove Street in Hanover, was arrested by Sergeant John Sullivan during a vehicle stop for Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

Leif Hartwell, of Lakewood Drive in Harwich, was arrested by Officer Peter Petell during a vehicle stop for Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol and Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Rita Guertin, of Tubman Road in Brewster, was arrested by Officer Keith Kannally during a service call for Uttering a False Prescription and Possession of a Class B Drug.

Noah Enslin, of Bayberry Road in West Harwich, was arrested by Officer Mark Holmes during a call for service for Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime.
NO IMAGERuth Rivera, of Longfellow Drive in Centerville, was arrested by the Barnstable Police and transferred to the Harwich Police Department after a stabbing incident that took place in Harwich. She was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (knife).
NO IMAGERyan Marr-Linnell, of Mayfair Road in Dennis, was arrested by Officer Richard Buttrick on a default Warrant during a call for service.

One arrest in Truro week ending 7/19

TRURO - The Truro Police Department responded toover 230 callsduring the period of July 13 through July 19 including reports ofsuspicious activity, fraud and threats, as well as offering mutual aid to the Truro FireDepartment and the Wellfleet and Provincetown Police Departments.  One arrest was madeduring this period:

On Saturday, July 18 at 11:29 p.m., Christopher G. McGregor, 34, of Fort Myers, FL, was arrested on Route 6 at Howland Street in Provincetown and charged with Failure to Drive in the Right Lane, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and License Not in Possession.
