Public informational session on herbicidal spraying around power lines on August 12, 2009 in Eastham

Senator O'Leary, Rep. Peake and representatives from NSTAR and the MA Department of Agriculture to attend

The offices of Senator Robert O’Leary (D-Barnstable) and Representative Sarah Peake (D-Provincetown) along with representatives from NSTAR and the State Department on Agriculture are hosting a public informational session on the herbicidal spraying around power lines on Wednesday August 12, 2009 from 6-7:30pm at the Nauset High School Auditorium, 100 Cable Road, North Eastham, MA 02651.

A moderated panel will be presenting information on herbicidal spraying and there will be an opportunity for the public to comment and ask questions on the topic.

Senator O’Leary is currently serving his fifth term in the Massachusetts’ State Senate.  The Senator is Senate Chair of the Joint Committee on Education.  Representative Peake is currently serving her second term in the Massachusetts’ House of Representatives. She is the House Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development.
