Falmouth Soccer Club needs your help with their Holiday Gear Drive

Give to the Falmouth Service Center's annual toy distribution


TheFalmouth Soccer Club made its debut at this year's Falmouth ChristmasParade.  About 30 soccer players from elementary school to high school,many wearing international soccer jerseys of the likes of Messi andRaul, juggled, dribbled, and showed off their skills along the route.Photo by Samantha Pearsall.

The Falmouth Soccer Club is looking fordonations of NEW soccer balls and other NEW soccer equipment which theClub will donate to the Falmouth Service Center for its annual toydistribution just before Christmas.

Donation items may be dropped at the collection bin at the Gus CantyRec Center (790 Main Street, Falmouth) by Friday, December 18, 2009.

The Falmouth Service Center is the town's food pantry, in operation since 1983. In addition tohelping those members of the Falmouth community in need, the servicecenter has a clothing room and also offers support and monthlyworkshops on a variety of topics.

This year's toy distribution will take place the Monday and Tuesday before Christmas.
