According to information recorded December 16th with the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds, the Captain's Quarters Resort and Conference Center in North Eastham was sold for $1.7 million to Captain's Quarters Acquisition, LLC.

The Massachusetts Secretary of State's corporations division lists the members of Captain's Quarters Acquisition, LLC. as Kirtikumar Patel and Ragini Patel of Panama City Beach, Florida.

The Patel name is a familiar one in the Cape Cod hospitality market. Registry filings show them through various corporations and LLCs as owning the Sandwich Lodge and Resort, the American Host Motel in West Yarmouth and Bourne's Quality Inn.

Sources in the local hospitality industry cite the Patel family as owners of several other motel properties.
