Yarmouth TD Bank robbed Wednesday, reward offered for information on suspect

Second bank robbery in Yarmouth in 10 days

   This man is wanted by the Yarmouth Police for robbing TD Bank on Route 28 Wednesday.

YARMOUTH - On Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 2:48 p.m.,  members of the Yarmouth Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at TD Bank at 1095 Route 28 in South Yarmouth.  The caller reported that the suspect had fled the bank after demanding and receiving money.

Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers and Detectives converged on the scene and conducted an intense search of the area but at this point have been unable to locate the suspect.

This is the second bank robbery in Yarmouth in the past 10 days.

Yarmouth Police are making the bank security photos of the suspect available to the public and media and urge anyone with information to contact the Yarmouth Police Department immediately by calling Detective Stephen W. Renzi at 508-775-0445 extension 2118 or by email at [email protected].

The suspect is a white male who was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers at the time of the robbery.

Compensation will be provided for information that leads to the capture and conviction of the suspect.
