Chatham seasonal flu clinic
The Town of Chatham has scheduled a seasonal flu clinic for Tuesday, January 12 from 9am to 12:30pm at the Chatham Community Center.
The clinic is for all Chatham residents 18 and over.
The Chatham Community Center is located at 702 Main Street. Contact the Chatham Board of Health at 508-945-5165 with any questions.
Chatham H1N1 vaccinations January 13, registration required
The Town of Chatham has scheduled H1N1 vaccinations for all Chatham residents on Wednesday, January 13 from 3pm to 6pm at the Chatham Community Center.
Pre-registration is required. Registration forms are available at the Community Center desk. The Chatham Community Center is located at 702 Main Street. Contact the Chatham Board of Health at 508-945-5165 with any questions.

Lower Cape Regional H1N1 vaccinations announced
Several H1N1 vaccination clinics have been scheduled in the towns of the Outer Cape. Clinics have already been held in Wellfleet and Eastham this week. Upcoming dates for Brewster, Truro and Provincetown are as follows:

Brewster Police Department to sponsor community blood drive January 28
The Brewster Police Department is sponsoring a community blood drive on Thursday, January 28 from 9am to 2pm. The blood drive will take place at the Brewster Police Department at 631 Harwich Road.

A valid ID is required to give blood.

Inside Barnstable Town Government Winter Classes to begin February 3rd
The fifteenth session of Inside Barnstable Town Government, A Citizens Leadership Academy will begin February 3, 2010. The academy is an 11-week commitment with the goal of educating the citizens of Barnstable about the operations of town government, while also obtaining valuable feedback and participation from those citizens participating in the Academy.
The program is designed to advance understanding of and participation in civic affairs as well as to increase awareness of the challenges facing municipal government.
The classes will be on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-9:00 PM and will be held in various
locations throughout the Town. The Academy also includes a bus tour of the seven villages.
The classes will be conducted by Town staff and provide interactive learning experiences,
group discussions, and site tours. The program is free of charge and class size is limited.

Town of Yarmouth announces five youth-related part-time positions
The Town of Yarmouth has announced five available part-time positions for this comingsummer season. One is for town beach lifeguards and the other four arefor child-related programs. Different programs involve working withchildren ages pre-K to kindergarten age or 3 to 5. Mandatory stafftraining will be held the fourth week of June.
