Double Stabbing last night in Hyannis

Two men stabbed multiple times, suspect flees

HYANNIS - Barnstable Police are investigating a double stabbing at 167 Winter Street in Hyannis on right. According to police at the scene, two males were stabbed multiple times. They suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Both victims were transported by Hyannis rescue to Cape Cod Hospital.

Hyannis rescue requested a trauma alert to the hospital for both victims. The 36-year-old male had two stab wounds to the chest while the 33-year-old received two stab wounds to the chest and one to the left arm. Police are currently searching for one suspect who fled the scene. The stabbing occurred around 7:00 PM Sunday (04-25-10) evening.      (Photo by David G. Curran)
