Attempted armed robbery in Brewster leads to arrest; Truro arrests include OUI and drug possession

Brewster 18-year-old arrested shortly after robbery

BREWSTER - At approximately 3:20 p.m. Brewster Police officers were called to Millstone Liquors at 1185 Long Pond Road, in response to an attempted armed robbery.  According to the clerk, a male suspect brandishing a knife, entered the store and demanded money.  The robbery attempt was unsuccessful and the suspect fled the scene prior to obtaining any money. 

With the assistance of the Barnstable County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit and the BCI Unit, the Brewster Police searched the area and quickly located the suspect, 18-year-old Ryan Brown of Brewster.

Upon arrival officers secured the area and began a search for a suspect.  Assistance was sought from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit and BCI Unit.  Officers quickly located a suspect matching the description and affected an arrest. 

Brown was placed under arrest and charged with Attempt to Commit a Crime and Armed Assault with Intent to Rob. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning.

Truro arrests include OUI and drug possession

TRURO - The Truro Police Department responded toover 100 callsduring the period of Monday, April 19 through Sunday, April 25 including reports ofsuspicious activity and suspicious vehicles, as well as offering mutual aidto  the Truro FireDepartment and the Provincetown Police Department.  Six arrests were madeduring this period.

On Tuesday, April 20 at 1:50 a.m., Michel Rene Labelle, 54, of Montreal, was arrested by Officer Jeremiah Valli on Route 6 in Truro and charged with Marked Lanes Violations, Speeding, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle and OUI Liquor.

On Tuesday, April 20 at 3:06 p.m., Anthony J. Occhipinti, 18, of South Dennis, was arrested by Officer Craig Danzinger on Route 6 in Truro and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance, Equipment Violation and other miscellaneous motor vehicle-related charges.

On Tuesday, April 20 at 3:19 p.m., Brianna T. Pires, 19, of South Dennis, was arrested by Officer Craig Danzinger on Route 6 in Truro and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance.

On Tuesday, April 20 at 3:29 p.m., Daniel C. Hammond, 17, of South Dennis, was arrested by Officer Craig Danzinger on Route 6 in Truro and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance.

On Tuesday, April 20 at 3:38 p.m., Sean L. Campbell, 18, of South Dennis, was arrested by Officer Craig Danzinger on Route 6 in Truro and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance.

On Tuesday, April 20 at 3:47 p.m., Ean William MacPherson, 17, of South Dennis, was arrested by Officer Craig Danzinger on Route 6 in Truro and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance.
