Male occupant removed from Yarmouth house fire

Man receives life-threatening injuries in fire

YARMOUTH - A male victim, believed to be in his 40s, was removed from a house fire at 108 Sullivan Road in Yarmouth Sunday evening, May 2, 2010 around 5:45 p.m. The victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with life-threatening injuries according to a fire official at the scene.

It is believed the fire started in a bedroom in the one-story home.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire after rescuing the sole occupant from the home.

The State Fire Marshal was requested at the scene.
