Boat Involved in fatal accident recovered - Family members view boat

David Hanson, Kingston firefighter, died near Buoy #5 in Plymouth Harbor

Relatives of David Hansen, a call firefighter from Kingston, Massachusetts who died following a boating accident Wednesday, pass the boat involved in the accident Thursday (05-13-10) afternoon at Town Wharf in Plymouth, Massachusetts.  According to a public safety official at the scene, the boat was discovered near the number 5 buoy in Plymouth harbor Thursday (05-13-10) morning around 10:40 AM. 

With the assistance of a robotic camera and dive teams from the Quincy Police Department scuba unit, officials were able to retrieve and tow the boat back in to shore in two hours.  Family members of David Hansen were at the scene around 2:45 PM Thursday afternoon to view the boat as well as take a ride out into Plymouth harbor with public safety officials.  (Photo by David G.
