Yarmouth Police issue Level 3 Sex Offender notice

Individual is not wanted by the authorities

YARMOUTH  - The Yarmouth Police Department has issued a Level 3Sex Offender community notice for an individual now living in West Yarmouth. Kevin Ford, 32, is now residing at 34 Webbers Path in West Yarmouth.  Ford is current unemployed.

Ford, shown in the photograph on right, is a white male, 5'7",290 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.

He was convicted on two counts of Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child under 14 on September 15, 2009. On September 23, 2008, Ford was arrested at his Hyannis home by a Yarmouth and Barnstable authorities on child rape charges. The following day, it was learned that Ford's plans to flee the Cape where thwarted by authorities on the 23rd.

Kevin Ford has been designated a Level 3 Sex Offender by the Sex Offender Registry Board (SORB).The Board has determined that this individual is at a high risk tore-offend and that the degree of dangerousness posed to the public issuch that a substantial public safety interest is served by activecommunity notification.

According to SORB, 9 Level 3 Sex Offenders and 51 Level 2 Sex Offenders are registered and residing in the town of Yarmouth.

Truro arrests include unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and outstanding warrants

TRURO - The Truro Police Department responded toover 100 callsduring the period of Monday, September 6 through Sunday, September 12 including reports ofsuspicious activity, as well as offering mutual aidto  the other police and municipal departments.  Three arrests were made during this period.

On Wednesday, September 8 at 10:21 a.m., Flavio Vaz DaSilva, 27, of Plymouth, was arrested on Route 6 in Truro during a vehicle stop and charged with Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and a Lights Violation.

On Wednesday, September 8 at 2:07 p.m., Kimberly Anne Rapchak, 48, of Pawcatcuk, CT, was arrested by Officer Craig Danzinger on Route 6 in Truro on two outstanding warrants.

On Wednesday, September 8 at 8:22 p.m., Christopher St. Clare Grant, 24, of Provincetown, was arrested by Officer Scott Holway during a vehicle stop on Snail Road in Provincetown and charged with Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
