Verizon Wireless expands 3G wireless network in Falmouth

Increased coverage will benefit notebook and smart phone users

In a press release issued today, Verizon Wireless announced the expansion of voice and 3G data coverage in Falmouth.

New cell sites will provide increased wireless voice and 3G data coverage in the area of Brick Kiln Road, Route 28 and Route 28A in Falmouth.

The expanded coverage will benefit Verizon customers on notebooks and smart phones in this Upper Cape area.

According to Richard Enright, Director for Network Systems Performance in New England for Verizon Wireless, "people across Massachusetts are increasingly relying on smart phones and 3G apps to manage their busy lives and stay connected at home or on-the-go. Our network investment in New England has kept us ahead of consumer trends, provided our customers a 3G advantage and underscored our belief that any mobile device is only as good as the network it runs on."
