Cape Cod Synagogue Learning Center presents "Israel's Changing Collective Identity October 23rd

Renowned lecturer, Professor Fred Lazin to speak in Hyannis

The Cape Cod Synagogue Learning Center will host a very special presentation: Israel's Changing Collective Identity on Saturday, October 23, 2010.

Renowned guest lecturer, Professor Fred Lazin, will discuss the past and current changes occurring in Israel’s society. As a professor at Ben Gurion University and the Lynn & Lloyd Hurst Family Professor of Local Government, Professor Lazin offers a unique and first hand account of the “multi-culturalism” that exists within Israel today.

Shabbat Kiddush begins at noon following Shabbat Services at 10:30 a.m. Professor Lazin's presentation will begin at 1 p.m.

There is no admission charge for Cape Cod Synagogue members. The cost for non-members to attend the Kiddush and lecture is $10. Shabbat Services are included at no charge.
