Community Health Center of Cape Cod in Mashpee awarded $15,000 grant for dental services

Grant to be used for extended hours and community outreach

Community Health Center of Cape Cod was recently awarded a grant for $15,000 from
the Edward Bangs Kelley & Elza Kelley Foundation to increase access to the Health Center’s dental services. With this funding, access will be expanded through a variety of ways, including additional evening and weekend hours and more community outreach. The Health Center expects this grant will help in serving an additional 50 dental patients each week on top of the average 200+ patients seen weekly.

Community Health Center of Cape Cod is a non-profit federally qualified health center that provides access to health care for adults and children with MassHealth, Commonwealth Care, Medicare, private insurance, or no insurance at all. Services include primary and preventive care, dental care, behavioral health, coordinated case management, and prescription assistance, at locations in Falmouth, Mashpee, Bourne, and the School Based Health Center at Barnstable High School.
