Homeless Prevention Council benefit at the Provincetown Theater Company December 17th

Friday's show benefits Lower Cape organization

The Homeless Prevention Council will benefit from the generosity of the Provincetown Theater Company on Friday, December 17th, when part of the proceeds from the company’s current production Sleeping Indoors will be donated to HPC.

Director Judith Partelow thought it was fitting, at this time of year, to share the profit from the play with organizations involved with homelessness. Playwright Jim Holt’s adult comedy tells the story of a homeless man who is taken in for Christmas by a well-meaning family. Many laughs ensue as the story unfolds.

“We are so incredibly grateful to Judith Partelow and all the members of the Provincetown Theater Company for their very generous gesture. We truly appreciate their support of our work in Provincetown as well as the other towns of the Lower/Outer Cape,” said Christine Austin, HPC’s Executive Director. “Please join us for an entertaining holiday evening and contribute to preventing homelessness on Cape Cod at the same time.”

For reservations for the 7:30 p.m. show at 238 Bradford Street in Provincetown, call 508-487-7487 or visit www.provincetowntheater.org. Tickets are $30, $25 for seniors and students.
