Cape Cod Museum of Natural History announces Wednesday Walks schedule for January/February

Walks scheduled each Wednesday at locations all over the Cape

The best way to beat cabin fever is to get out and get some exercise. This week, the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History (CCMNH) in Brewster announced the January/February 2011 schedule of Wednesday Walks with Connie Boyce.

Connie's popular outdoor walks take place every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. noon and each walk is approximately 3 to 4 miles long.

Walks are schedule at locations all over the Cape, but each leaves from the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History at 869 Route 6A in Brewster. Walks are $4 for Museum members and $6 for non-members.

The upcoming winter schedule is as follows:

January    

  • 01/05: Talbot Point to Hoxie Pond, Sandwich.  Leave CCMNH at 9:15 a.m.
  • 01/12: Indian Lands, Dennis. Leave CCMNH at 9:45 a.m.
  • 01/19: Wellfleet Walk, Wellfleet. Leave CCMNH at 9:15 a.m.
  • 01/26:  South Eastham Conservation Area/Aschetino Property/Bike Trail, Eastham. Leave CCMNH at 9:50 a.m.

February 

  • 02/02: Hawks Nest Conservation Area, Harwich. Leave CCMNH at 9:30 a.m.
  • 02/09: Ryder Conservation Lands, Sandwich. Leave CCMNH at 9:15 a.m.
  • 02/16: Hathaways Pond Conservation Area, Barnstable. Leave CCMNH at 9:30 a.m.
  • 02/23: Grey’s Beach to Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth Port. Leave CCMNH at 9:45 a.m.
