Falmouth man arrested, charged with trafficking cocaine early Monday

FALMOUTH - While on patrol early Monday, January 10, 2011 around midnight, Officer Christopher Bartolomei discovered an individual dressed all in dark clothing stumbling down the middle of Brick Kiln Road. The officer recognized the man as Robert "Adam" Lino, 30, of East Falmouth.

When Lino saw the police cruiser, he entered a yard and hid behind a tree. While standing behind the tree, Lino dropped a bag of cocaine on the ground.

After Officer Bartolomei called to Lino by name, Lino walked on and dropped a scale behind another tree at which time Lino was put under arrest.

After being taken into custody, Robert Lino threatened to vandalize property belonging to Officer Bartolomei. Subsequently, Lino was charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Intimidation of a Witness.
