Yarmouth Town Libraries announce Patron Appreciation Week

Overdue fines will be forgiven in return for food donation

Monday, February 14 through Saturday, February 19 is Patron Week at the Yarmouth Town Libraries. In addition to fun family events and a drawing, the libraries will forgive all overdue fines in return for food donations to the Yarmouth Food Pantry.

Check with the Yarmouth Food Pantry for appropriate donations or visit the library for a list of suggestions.

Patron Week is the board and staff of the library's way of saying thank you to the entire Yarmouth community.  Festivities kick off on Valentine's Day with treats and surprises.

Library goers are encouraged to enter a drawing (one per patron) during the week  for a Nook and three "reader's baskets"--one for adults, one for young adults and one for families.

The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 19.  Cupcakes and cookies will be served and a drop-in craft for children will also be held at 2 p.m. that day.

Events will be held at both the South Yarmouth Library (312 Old Main Street, South Yarmouth) and the West Yarmouth Library (391 Main Street/Route 28, West Yarmouth).
