ARRAIGNMENTS

ALMEIDA, Manuel D, 22, 549 Cottage St Apt #2, New Bedford; Class D drug possession with intent to distribute, February 25 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 21.  A uniformed patrol officer was conducting an area security check of Nautical Way and Murray Way, reputed to be a "high crime" location.  Four individuals are alleged to have exited a vehicle with its lights off and approached the cruiser.  Almeida is alleged to have been in possession of five individual bags of marijuana and a marijuana "blunt."  A blunt is a cigar wrapper removed from a cigar, filled with marijuana and re-rolled into a cigarette.

MCSWEENEY, Tiffany, 25, 10 Restful Ln, E. Wareham; assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, an unknown object; assault & battery; vandalize property February 23 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 1.  McSweeney is accused of attacking another woman with a weapon able to penetrate both a heavy thick sweatshirt and muscle.  McSweeney is also alleged to have smashed the windshield of a parked car by throwing a planter through it.

NEALE, Andrew C, 23, 96 Pine Grave Rd, W. Yarmouth; five counts, larceny by false pretenses, February 7 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 17.

SOUSA, Tyler R, 26, 10 Vacation Ln, Yarmouth; two counts, larceny of credit card; three counts, improper use of credit card January 27 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 21.

WARD, Ira L, 51, 73 New London Ave, Marstons Mills; larceny over $250, February 24 in Barnstable.   Pretrial conference scheduled for March 8.

BASSETT, Keyleigh, 24, 10 Middle St, Dennis; larceny over $250, amended to larceny under $250.  Continued without a finding until August 24.

BERRIO, Kimberly S, 39, 9 Edwards Ave, Dennisport; OUI liquor, second offense; open container of alcohol violation; marked lanes violation.  Both violations not recorded.  OUI liquor, second offense, 24D program.  Loss of license, continued without a finding, continued for payment until February 24 2012.

CLARK, Deborah M, 60, 79 Cherry Ln, Yarmouth; assault & battery, January 25 in Yarmouth.  Dismissed.

LYNCH, Conor, 20, 28 Patriot Way, Barnstable; Class D drug possession with intent to distribute November 23 2010 in Yarmouth.  Admitted to sufficient facts.  Continued without a finding until August 24, 2011.  A plainclothes officer operating an unmarked police vehicle was conducting surveillance at Station Avenue and Old Town House Rd, based on this area's history of illegal drug transactions.  A Chevy Malibu operated by Lynch was found to contain a quantity of marijuana, a digital scale and plastic baggies.

OTOOLE, Tristian M, 20, 346 Rte 149, Marstons Mills; larceny over $250 by false pretenses, larceny from a building February 1 in Barnstable.  Larceny over $250 by false pretenses, admitted to sufficient facts.  Larceny from a building, admitted to sufficient facts.  Both continued without a finding, continued for payment until August 23, 2013.

RIDGE, Kaighla A, 20, 287 Scranton Ave, Falmouth; assault & battery, December 4 2010 in Yarmouth.  Dismissed.

STORER, Ryan P, 24, 62 Woodridge Rd, E. Sandwich; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; failure to stop/yield; speeding; Class D drug possession with intent to distribute (marijuana), amended to Class D drug possession.  Continued without a finding until August 24, 2011.  Suspended license, negligent operation dismissed.  Failure to stop/yield, speeding not recorded.

TOBIN, Tara L, 20, 2239 Iyannough Rd, W. Barnstable; OUI liquor, state highway traffic violation January 13 in Yarmouth.  Continued for payment, continued without a finding until February 24 2012.

TYNAN, Christopher D, 45, 101 Quaker Meeting House Rd, Sandwich; operating a motor vehicle with license suspended for OUI, failure to dim headlights violation October 9 2010 in Sandwich.  Operating a motor vehicle with license suspended for OUI, guilty plea.  Headlights violation, not recorded.  Three months house of correction, to run concurrent @ #0836CR0029.  Sentence to be served at Essex County, Middleton.

BREDESEN, Susan D, 37, 43 Long Rd, Harwich; assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, an axe handle; Class B drug possession (suboxone); Class E drug possession (Seroquel) February 24 in Harwich.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 1.

CANNAVA, Michele L, 37, 211 Bradford St, Provincetown; OUI liquor, second offense, January 21 in Truro.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 20.

CHOCKEY, Kevin J, 46, 583 Satucket Rd, Brewster; assault & battery, February 24 in Eastham.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 1.

MCGRATH, James D, 66, 256 Lothrop Ave, Harwich; breaking & entering for misdemeanor, vandalize property, criminal harassment December 16 2010 in Harwich.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 18.  McGrath, a landlord, is accused of criminal activities in connection with trying to force out two tenants "for business reasons" by continual harassment.  According to police reports, since December 16, McGrath has shut off the power three times, stuck an axe in the wall by the apartment door and confronted his tenant's mother, calling her a "slut."  McGrath is alleged to have towed his tenant's vehicle across the street with his backhoe.  He also "apparently fixed it" so the wood stove would blow smoke into the upstairs apartment through the vents.

BURNIE, Nathaniel D, 21, 448 Great Western Rd, Harwich; person under 21 in possession of alcohol, Class E drug possession (marijuana) January 18 in Dennis.  Possession of alcohol under 21, dismissed.  Class E drug possession, dismissed.  Continued for payment until August 26.  Administrative supervision.  Must remain drug free.

CANNAVA, Michele L, 37, 211 Bradford St, Provincetown; OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation January 15 in Truro.  Dismissed.
