Joint meeting of commissioners focused on women's issues scheduled for March 16th

CICSW & BCCSW to hold joint meeting in Buzzards Bay

The Cape & Islands Commission on the Status of Women (CICSW) and the Bristol County Commission on the Status of Women (BCCSW) will hold a joint networking meeting on Wednesday, March 16.  The event, open to the public, will begin at 6 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the library at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay.

Both commissions were established under state law to advance women toward full equality and to promote rights and opportunities for all women.

Cape & Islands Commissioners and their counterparts in nearby Bristol County will meet to establish legislative priorities and explore opportunities to work together on behalf of the women of Southeastern Massachusetts and their families.
