ARRAIGNMENTS

COOMBS, Darius L, 24, 22 Osprey Ln, Sandwich; two counts, assault & battery on a police officer; assault & battery on ambulance personnel; assault & battery; assault to murder March 6 in Sandwich.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 25.  According to police reports, a Sandwich officer directed to 20 Osprey Lane heard a female screaming "HELP!"  The woman's injuries were consistent with attempted strangulation.  The alleged assailant, Coombs, attempted to kick the officers.  They responded by pepper-spraying his face.  Coombs was transported to the rear of the cruiser, where he kicked out both rear windows, then smashed his head into the plexiglass partition, screaming and yelling profanities.  The interior of the house was found in ruins, with holes punched in the wall and smashed television sets.

COTELL, Devon A, 34, 31 Woodbury Ave, Hyannis; Class B drug possession, oxycodone, March 5 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 9.  According to police reports, a patrol officer was in an area where he believed a person resides subject to a Superior Court summons.  The officer saw three men, one by himself and two together.  Seeing the officer, the pair fled.  Once located, the officer noticed one of the suspects throw a small, light-colored object into a hedge.  A small blue pill with an M on one side and the number 30 on the other was in a cellophane package.  The markings are consistent with the prescription medication oxycodone.

CRABTREE, Douglas, 26, 24 Maple Ave, Centerville; assault, larceny over $250, intimidating a witness, vandalizing property March 5 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 22.

FOSTER, Shawn M, 22, 10 Raymons Way, Brewster; OUI drugs, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle March 3 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 1.  According to police reports, a vehicle operator was reported to be driving "all over the roadway" March 3.  The driver, Foster, failed field sobriety tests.  During the investigation, the Yarmouth police received a call concerning a hit-and-run accident moments just previous.  Urine test results are not yet available.

HORTON, William F Jr, 71, 109 Upper County Rd, Apt 31-Bldg A, S. Dennis; murder, April 19 2009 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 15.

LESCAULT, Jason P, 32, 243 Sandalwood Dr, Cotuit; assault & battery March 6 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 8. 

LLERENA, Jorge N, 44, 275 Rte 28 Apt 102, W. Yarmouth; two counts, assault & battery in March 5 in Yarmouth.   Pretrial conference scheduled for April 6.

DISPOSITIONS

BAIRD, Hugh Houston, 71, 25 West Terrace, Centerville; OUI liquor, second offense.  24D program October 12 2010 in Cotuit.  Continued without a finding, continued for payment until March 6 2012.  Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed.  Alcohol from an open container, not recorded.  Unregistered motor vehicle, not recorded. Failure to stop/yield, not recorded. 

DELMAN, Joshua, 24, Rte 6A Apt Upper, Dennis; possession of burglarious instruments, January 29 in Yarmouth.  Dismissed.

GUARINO, John R, 45, 163 Corporation Rd, Dennis; possession of burglarious instruments, January 29 in Yarmouth.  Dismissed.

JERONOMO, Joao B, 26, 85 Spruce St, Hyannis; Class B drug possession, cocaine, October 4 2010 in Barnstable.  Jury trial.  Dismissed.

LUCIER, Mark A, 24, 28 Davis Rd, S. Yarmouth; possession of burglarious instruments, January 29 in Yarmouth.  Dismissed.

PERRY, Jordan C, 39, 51 John Ewer Rd, Sandwich; OUI liquor, marked lanes violation, January 31 in Sandwich.  OUI, admitted to sufficient facts.  Marked lanes violation not recorded.  Continued without a finding, continued for payment until March 6 2012.

SHEEHAN, Nicole E, 34, 44 Avalon Cir, Osterville; assault & battery, assault with a dangerous weapon December 25 2010 in Barnstable.  Both counts dismissed.

SOUZA, Fallon R, 27, 402 Bearses Way, Hyannis; conceal/sell/pledge leased personalty, July 15 2010 in Barnstable.  Admitted to sufficient facts.  Continued without a finding, continued for payment until March 6 2012.  Souza is alleged to have signed a lease for a cherry bedroom set with frame, mattress and foundation, then made no payment or reply.

ARRAIGNMENTS

FOURNIER, Gary D, 41, Massasoit Trail, N. Eastham; assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, a baseball bat, malicious destruction of property over $250, disturbing the peace March 5 in Eastham.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 23.  According to police reports, police responded to a report of an assault and battery in progress.  Two witnesses attested they had seen a man with a beard and a hat, "going after the guy in the blue GMC Yukon."  The witnesses also stated, "another car was driving and people were telling the bearded guy to get in."  Officers noted the Yukon had two broken windows with corresponding tinted glass on the ground.  The victim was treated at Cape Cod Hospital for injuries including glass in his right arm.

HAMILTON, Rufus S, 17, 27 Davis Rd, Hyannis; breaking & entering at nighttime for felonious purposes; vandalizing property; two counts, breaking & entering vehicle or boat at nighttime for felonious purposes; larceny over $250 March 6 2011 in Harwich.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 1.  According to police reports, officers responded to a report of breaking & entering into two cars at night, with items stolen.  Missing was a Gorin Nuvi 255w along with its charger, and a Pioneer car stereo worth several hundred dollars.  The investigation has involved dusting for fingerprints, K9 searches and in-house alarm systems that dial homeowners to allow them to hear sounds inside.  One black Nike sneaker was left behind as suspects fled, and collected as evidence.

JOHNSON, Damion J, 58 Pleasant Lake Ave, Harwich; breaking & entering a building at nighttime for felonious purposes; vandalizing property; breaking & entering a vehicle or boat at nighttime for felonious purposes; larceny over $250; resisting arrest, March 6 2011 in Harwich.  Johnson is the suspected accomplice at HAMILTON, above.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 1. 

NICKERSON, Aaron P, 34, 50 Massasoit Trail, N. Eastham; violating an abuse prevention order, March 5 2011 in Eastham.  Held -- see NICKERSON, below.  Pretrial conference scheduled for March 18.

NOSEK, Tina M,  39, 48 East St #2, Clinton; larceny of check over $250, defrauding an innkeeper over $100 July 17 2010 in Truro.  Pretrial probation until September 7.  Nosek is accused of defrauding the Top Mast Motel with a bad check for $1, 469.54.  The account name is the Coral Cactus Hair Salon, of which Nosek is the owner. 

PIRES, Penny L, 31, 576 Rte 28 Apt 4, Dennis Port; larceny under $250, November 2 2010 in Dennis.  Dismissed.

DISPOSITIONS

MACNEILL, Laura J, 49, 47 Caleb St, Dennis Port; OUI liquor, marked lanes violation March 5.  Arraigned.  Held.  OUI liquor, admitted to sufficient facts, 24D program.  Marked lanes, admitted to sufficient facts, not responsible.  Continued without a finding until March 7 2012.

NICKERSON, Aaron P, 34, 50 Massasoit Trail, N. Eastham; violating an abuse prevention order, November 18 2010 in Eastham.  Held without bail.  Bail revoked.
