Falmouth Soccer Club to host 3rd Annual Indoor Tournament

Last year over 140 players participated

The Falmouth Soccer Club (FSC) will host its Third Annual Joe Kirk Memorial Tournament on Saturday, March 19 at the Gus Canty Community Center. Last year about 140 players from ages eight to 18 participated, 30 adults volunteered, and 25 local businesses and individuals sponsored the event.

This year the all-day tournament will include small-sided games for all age groups, skills contests, raffle prizes, free tournament t-shirts, snacks, and a presentation of the funds raised to support a family within the greater Falmouth Soccer Community who may be in need of some financial assistance. Last year the tournament netted over $2,000 which was donated to Nancy and Neva Callaghan.

FSC is looking for raffle prizes, tournament sponsors and volunteers to help out during the event. To make a donation or volunteer, please contact Tournament Co-Directors Derek Silcox ([email protected]) or Devin McManus ([email protected]).
