ARRAIGNMENTS 

COFFMAN, Paul D, 51, 20 Neptune Ln Apt #12, Yarmouth; assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, a knife, April 2 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 16.

MILDE, John A, 48, 167 Circuits Ave, Oak Bluffs; assault & battery, April 1 in Sandwich.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 4.

MILLER, Melvin R, 54, Iyannough Rd Rte 132, Hyannis; Class A drug possession with intent to distribute, heroin; Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, crack cocaine; conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws, April 1 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 20.  According to police reports, officers made controlled purchases of crack cocaine from Miller and another individual (see PITCHER, below) at the Budget Host Motel on Route 132.  Police executed a search warrant.  The other individual attempted to flush evidence down the toilet.  She was unsuccessful.  Police found 15 individually-wrapped baggies of crack cocaine, heroin, a digital scale, plastic bags and approximately $2,300 in cash.

PITCHER, Susan M, 41, 10A Spring St, Hyannis; same charges and scheduled pretrial conference date as MILLER, above.  Pitcher is the other individual denoted at MILLER.

ROBERTS, Ronald V III, 23, 379 South St Apt #3, Hyannis; violating an abuse prevention order, April 1 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 15.

SYPEK, Brock J, 19, 245 Poponesset Rd, Cotuit; assault & battery; vandalizing property; two counts, intimidating a witness March 29 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 27.

DISPOSITIONS

AQUINO, Jose M, 54, 15 Oak Neck Rd Apt #33, Hyannis; assault with a dangerous weapon; assault & battery; threat to commit a crime December 27 2010 in Barnstable.  All counts dismissed.

CRUZ, Curtis L Jr, 21, 67 Taber St Apt #3, New Bedford; carrying a dangerous weapon, a black folding knife; failure to appear on own recognizance.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 16.

LAWSON, Chrystal M, 167 Barnstable Rd Apt #9D, Hyannis; shoplifting by asportation, March 10 in Barnstable.  Dismissed.

PALERMO, Joseph, 63, Capt. Greeves Rd, Sandwich; larceny under $250, May 26 2010 in Barnstable.  Jury trial.  Guilty plea.  Guilty finding.  Continued for payment, probation until April 3 2012.  One year, house of corrections, six months suspended, committed; 63 days credit.  Restitution in the amount of $240.

PALERMO, Joseph, 63, same as above; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with suspended license August 12 2010 in Sandwich.  All counts dismissed.

SMITH, Carol B, 66, 146 Weir Rd, Yarmouth; OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation March 1 in Yarmouth.  Bench trial.  24D program.  OUI liquor, admitted to sufficient facts.  Continued without a finding, continued for payment until April 3 2012.

ARRAIGNMENTS

FALCONE, Michael J, 36, 76 Sea Pine Rd, Wellfleet; assault & battery April 2 in Eastham.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 19.

HUDSON, Heath, 34, 187 E. Side Rd, Hancock ME; OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, open container violation, motor vehicle lights violation April 2 in Truro.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 10.  According to police reports, Hudson was unsteady on his feet, argumentative and sarcastic.  He was also redolent of alcohol.  Hudson refused a Breathalyzer test and was arrested.

SILVA, Charles T, 34, 39 Ships Way Rd, Provincetown; OUI drugs, Ambien; leaving the scene of property damage April 3 in Provincetown.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 10.  According to police reports, a black pickup truck driven by Silva struck a utility pole in Truro, snapping it in half and bringing down wires.  Silva failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.  Silva reported Ambien may have affected his depth perception.  Ambien is a prescription medication used in the treatment of insomnia.

DISPOSITIONS

CHENEY, Frederick P, 46, 87 White Rock Rd, Brewster; OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation April 2 in Eastham.  Bench trial.  24D program.  OUI liquor, admitted to sufficient facts.  Continued without a finding until April 3 2012.  Negligent operation, dismissed.  Marked lanes, not recorded.
