RITCHIE, Daniel P, 20, 188 Beach Plum Ln, Brewster; breaking & entering at nighttime for felonious purposes; intimidating a witness; furnishing a false name or Social Security number to a law enforcement officer following an arrest, April 27 in Yarmouth. According to police reports, a Yarmouth officer was dispatched for a breaking & entering in progress. The victim looked out his second floor window when a motion sensor light was activated. He observed a person in dark clothing inside his Mercedes SUV. The suspect noticed, looked up at the victim and fled south on Town Brook Rd. The officer and K9 Kosmo tracked him to behind a stand of arborvitae behind the former Mill Hill Club, which would have obscured the suspect from the roadway. At the same time, another officer stopped a person bicycling eastbound on Rte 28, near the Unfinished Furniture Store. The suspect fit the description of the B&E perpetrator. During booking, the suspect represented himself as "Shawn O'Neill." His fingerprints matched Daniel Ritchie, date of birth February 21, 1991. This was confirmed with an RMV photo search. Ritchie was found to have an outstanding default warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court for malicious destruction, two counts larceny over $250, and breaking & entering at nighttime for felonious purposes. Ritchie had a black folding knife in his possession when arrested.
COOMBS, Darius L, 34, 22 Osprey Ln, Sandwich; two counts, assault & battery on a police officer; assault & battery on ambulance personnel; assault & battery; assault to murder; resisting arrest; two counts, vandalizing property March 6 in Sandwich. Assault to murder, dismissed. Guilty plea, all other counts. Guilty finding, all other counts. Continued for payment, probation until April 26 2013. Complete GED. Level III drug- and alcohol-free. Counseling. Six months home confinement.

KRIKORIAN, Jessica L, 21, 97 Siasconset Ave, Dennisport; receiving stolen property over $250, December 9 2010 in Dennis. Pretrial conference scheduled for May 9. According to police reports, Dennis officers investigating a break-in at a house unoccupied, but kept furnished to encourage potential buyers, noticed cigarette ash on the floor near a corner hutch. Neither the victim nor the victim's spouse smoke. A large assortment of jewelry was missing, including an antique gold ring, silver and black onyx cuff links and an engagement ring. Neighbors reported no unusual activity in the area. The victims, British citizens, were called in by the Dennis Police Department to inspect seized evidence. They immediately identified certain items, including a child's bracelet engraved with their daughter's name. Several local police departments had been conducting surveillance of Krikorian for the past month. Krikorian was wearing the victim's jewelry when arrested.
