CORLEY, Tisha, 35, 70 Cape Dr, Mashpee; larceny over $250 by single scheme, May 10 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 16.  According to police reports, Corley is a suspect in an employee theft at Macy's in the Cape Cod Mall.  At issue is $360 missing from the till in the women's shoe department.

MATZ, Edward M III, 47, 5225 Rte 28A, Cataumet; larceny over $250, May 10 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 6.  According to police reports, Kmart store security caught Matz leaving the store with almost $1,000 of merchandise, without a receipt.

TAMASI, Tammy M, 39, 91 Rte 28, Yarmouth; OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle May 10 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 9.

TRUE, Noah R, 18, 67 Grand Oak Rd, Sandwich; assault, vandalizing property June 14 in Sandwich.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 14.  According to police reports, True threw a chair at Sandwich High School, breaking it and menacing a school employee.

UGAZ, Eduardo G, 51, 35 Hudson Rd, Yarmouth; assault & battery, May 10 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 9.

VANREEL, Dalton N, 41, 11 Fresh Holes Rd, Hyannis; assault & battery, intimidating a witness May 11 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 9.

DISPOSITIONS

BATES, Kevin G, 32, 1178 Elmwood Ave, Apt #2, Providence RI; assault & battery, assault & battery with a dangerous weapon February 5 in Barnstable.  Dismissed.

CLERKIN, David R, no age or address given; OUI liquor, July 13 1981 in Mashpee.  Dismissed.

WALLACE, Adrian L, 34, 5 Melissa Dr, W. Yarmouth; OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield January 1 in Yarmouth.  Jury trial.  OUI liquor, not guilty.  Negligent operation of a motor vehicle, guilty.  Continued for payment, probation until May 9 2012.  Failure to stop/yield, not recorded.

HEROLD, Christopher, 43, P.O. Box 181, Orleans; violating an abuse prevention order, May 11 in Orleans.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 21.

NOYES, Brenda J, 52, 18A Crow Pond Rd, N. Chatham; larceny of a drug, oxycontin, February 16 in Harwich.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 27.  According to police reports, Noyes is a suspect in the theft of four (4) oxycontin pills from the Nursing Department at Rosewood Manor.  A laminated pill card was found slit at the bottom.  The 11-7 charge nurse discovered the theft while completing the day's narcotic inventory, and reported it to the Director of Nursing.  Noyes is the 3-11 charge nurse. 

DISPOSITIONS

BROWN, Sean A, 28, 5050 State Hwy N, N. Eastham; OUI liquor, second offense; negligent operation of a motor vehicle, state highway traffic violation September 6 2010 in Eastham.  Jury trial.  OUI liquor, guilty plea.  Guilty finding.   Ninety days house of correction, suspended to May 10 2013.  Two year loss of license.  Fourteen day second off fenders program.  Alcohol-free with screens.  Negligent operation, guilty plea.  Guilty finding.  State highway traffic violation, not recorded.

BRUM, Margaret M, 52, 7 Middle St, S. Dennis; assault & battery, February 18 2010 in Dennis.  Admitted to sufficient facts.  Guilty finding.  Continued for payment until June 1.

ARRAIGNMENTS

SLAVIN, Nicholas A, 22, 199 Bayview Ave, Berkley MA; from a complaint issued April 6 in Middleboro, Slavin was arraigned on charges of larceny over $250 by a single scheme, credit card fraud over $250, false statement to obtain credit card, and improper use of a credit card over $250. Slavin was held on $1,000 cash bail to await a June 7 pretrial conference. According to the police report, Slavin allegedly applied for a debit account card fraudulently, using the account information, without authority, of someone he was acquainted with. The victim reported to the Middleboro police that she had noticed numerous debit card withdrawals, totaling over $2000 from her account although she did not have a debit card.  Further investigation, which included the viewing of bank surveillance video, led to the arrest of Slavin. In another matter, Slavin admitted to sufficient facts, (continued without a finding) to one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a portable metal clothes hanger) stemming from a domestic incident in September 2010. Slavin was ordered to attend an anger management program, to abstain from drug and alcohol use, and to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.

DISPOSITIONS

VARELA, Rafael M, 30, 91 Alley Rd., Rochester; from a complaint issued in October 2010 in Wareham, charges of witness intimidation, larceny of a motor vehicle and threatening to commit a crime dismissed upon request of the Commonwealth without prejudice. “Dismissed without prejudice” is an order issued by a judge actually dismissing the charges that were brought in the case - usually for some legal insufficiency, or lack of evidence, in the case itself. Dismissal without Prejudice means that the charges may be re-instituted and brought before court again after the legal insufficiency is cured.

DELUCA, Joseph C, 36, 12 State St., Apt.91, E. Wareham; charges of larceny by check over $250 dismissed contingent upon restitution of $346 paid by June 21.

LOWE, Jason, 37, 41 Carmardo Dr., Wareham; admitted to sufficient facts on the charge of leaving the scene after property damage in Wareham on February 16. The case was continued without a finding until October 2011 with restitution to be determined by the probation department.  Lowe left the scene after hitting another vehicle in a parking lot on Cranberry Highway.  He was identified by a witness at the scene.
