ARRAIGNMENTS

ASHE, Claire A, 41, 444 Front St., Marion; from a complaint issued April 11, Ashe was arraigned on 3 counts malicious destruction of property over $250, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Cash bail was set at $2,500. The case was continued to June 7. According to the police report, a Marion police officer was dispatched to 444 Front St. on a report that an individual on the third floor of that dwelling was “trashing” the apartment with a hammer. Ashe, known to the officer, was allegedly intoxicated and responsible for considerable damage to the apartment. She was taken into custody at the scene.

LANGILLE, John E. Jr, 41, 41 Almon Ave., Brockton; from a complaint issued April 21, arraigned on 2 counts of larceny over $250. According to the police report, on March 25 a Middleboro police officer was dispatched to 30 Commerce Blvd. on a report of a larceny from the back of Cerelli Foods, specifically the theft of a commercial battery valued at $2,200. The battery had been left on a pallet at the rear of the building. Surveillance footage showed a red pickup truck pull behind the building and an occupant of the vehicle load the battery into the back of the truck. The surveillance footage was not clear enough to make an identification of the vehicle or the suspect. On April 15, an officer was again dispatched to Cerelli on a report that the same suspect had returned and taken assorted scrap metal from the same location. This time, the surveillance footage clearly revealed a company name on the door of the truck and a description of the alleged thief. Langille was identified after an investigation by police. The case has been continued to June 22 for pretrial conference.

PETRONELLI, Timothy D, 32, 8 Derry Park Drive #6, Middleboro; from a complaint issued April 27, Petronelli was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin) and possession of a Class A substance (heroin) pursuant to a vehicle stop on Rt. 28 on March 18. According to the police report, Petronelli was arrested for driving on a suspended license. A canine sniff at the scene detected 9 “bundles” (90 “bags”) of heroin hidden in the vehicle. Case was continued to May 24 for pretrial conference.

MURPHY, Donald W, 25, 29 Cross St., Carver; from a complaint issued April 27, Murphy arraigned on charges of trespass with motor vehicle and breaking and entering daytime for felony. Murphy allegedly broke into a cranberry pond pump house on Easter morning. According to the report, he was interrupted by neighbors and fled the scene. Apparently, nothing was stolen in the incident. Case was continued to June 16 for pretrial conference.

SANTIAGO, Peter M, 34, 28 Rose Point Ave., W. Wareham; from a complaint issued April 20, arraigned on a charge of leaving the scene after causing property damage. According to the police report, Wareham officer was dispatched to the area of 18 Tobey St. for a report of a motor vehicle off the road. When the officer arrived, no occupants were present and the vehicle’s rear bumper was resting on a tree. Several unopened beer bottles were discovered on the passenger seat. After an investigation, Santiago was issued a summons to appear in court. Case continued to June 22.

DISPOSITIONS

BERGAMASCO, Aaron J, 23, 231 High St., Wareham; from a complaint issued May 25, 2010, Bergamasco plead guilty to two counts receiving stolen credit card, admitted to sufficient facts continued  without a finding to three counts of improper use of a credit card and entered guilty pleas to two counts of larceny, one over $250 and one under $250. He received probation until May 2013. The charges stemmed from the theft of a wallet.  Bergamasco was identified from a video surveillance monitor making withdrawals from an ATM machine.

ARRAIGNMENTS

HARNOIS, Wayne, 28, 210 Plymouth Rd., Fitchburg; assault and battery in Wareham on May 14. Released on $250 cash bail. According to the police report, A Wareham officer was dispatched to Cartland on Cranberry Highway for a report of a domestic assault. Harnois allegedly punched the victim three times in the face and fled the scene. Harnois was later apprehended in the woods off 2544 Cranberry Highway. He was located via cell phone GPS. Case continued to June 24 for pretrial hearing.

BURGO, Aaron, 22, 346 Staples St., E. Taunton; arraigned on charges of OUI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and speeding on May 14 in Middleboro. Burgo was allegedly traveling at 94 mph in a 50 mph zone when stopped by police. He was released on his own recognizance to appear on June 16 for pretrial conference.

DURRAND, Mellissa B, 32, 89 E. Grove St., Apt. A3, Middleboro; assault and battery, domestic. Case continued to June 24 for pretrial conference.

FONTAINE, Antonio F, 74, 9 Akinbac Rd., Middleboro; appeared in court today after his arraignment on May 11 to determine bail eligibility after being charged with four counts of indecent assault and battery on a retarded person and one count of rape. Fontaine was originally held without bail pending today’s hearing. Bail was set at $10,000 cash.

SANTOS, Douglas W, 53, 2326 Cranberry Highway, W. Wareham; OUI 4th offense, leaving the scene after property damage and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. Santos was held on $1000 cash bail to await his next appearance on June 9.
