ARRAIGNMENTS

CURTIS, Robert J, 46, 10 Bramblebush Dr, Cotuit; OUI liquor; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; eleven counts, vandalizing property May 17 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 17.  According to police reports, a marked police detail was dispatched to the intersection of Sandalwood Drive and Eastwood Lane for a report of a motor vehicle off the road, smashed into a tree.  A blue Dodge Dakota pickup was up against a large oak, rear wheels still spinning.  Curtis was intoxicated to the point he had to be kept from falling over.  He was arrested.  Several nearby homes suffered damage deemed caused by Curtis, including broken mailboxes, damage to parked cars and a caved-in garage door.  Jeep Blue paint transfer was observed on a damaged Grand Cher0kee.

KEIRSTAD, Karl, 28, 163 Spring St, Hyannis; Class A, Class C drug possession with intent to distribute, amended to Class A, Class C drug possession October 22 2010 in Barnstable.  Both counts, admitted to sufficient facts.  Both counts, continued without a finding, continued for payment until May 18 2012.  Probation until May 18 2012 on both counts, concurrent.

STEWART, Scott, 59, 210 Dunrobin Rd, Mashpee; larceny over $250, July 23 2008 in Barnstable.  Dismissed upon restitution of $1250.  Continued for payment until May 19.

LETSCH, Dean M, 44, 398 W. Main St Apt #B4, Hyannis; two counts, assault & battery; intimidating a witness, May 19 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 30.

TURNER, Courtney L, 22, 278 Hickory Hill Cir, Osterville; OUI liquor, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, May 19 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for June 30.  According to police reports, a reporting party saw Turner's blue Pontiac Grand Am involved in a one-car accident that left debris scattered across Rte 6A.  The front tires were destroyed.  Officers arrested Turner when she failed field sobriety tests.

FLETCHER, Timothy R, 29, 20 Manchester Ave, Yarmouth Port; Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, December 30 2010 in Barnstable.  Dismissed.

FLETCHER, Timothy R, same.  Class B drug possession with intent to distribute; conspiracy to violate drug laws; resisting arrest October 28 2010 in Barnstable.  Class B possession to distribute, guilty plea.  Guilty finding.  Eighteen months house of correction, 106 days credit, concurrent @BACR2004.00041.  Conspiracy, resisting arrest dismissed.  Forfeiture of $9492 to the Commonwealth.

PARKER, Justin T, 17, 129 Elliott Rd, Centerville; two counts, Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, cocaine and oxycodone, January 27 2010 in Barnstable.  Count #1, admitted to sufficient facts.  Continued without a finding, continued for payment until May 18 2012.  Count #2, dismissed.

FRITZ, Michael A, 21, 1 Meredith Rd, Sandwich; Class E drug possession, July 28 2010 in Sandwich.  Dismissed.

KUSSMAUL, Deirdre, 35, 148 Union St, Yarmouth Port; assault & battery, April 20 in Yarmouth.  Dismissed.

KENT, Jessica L, 21, 282 Countryside Dr, Chatham; uttering a false check; larceny over $250 by single scheme July 6, 2010  and May 11 2010 respectively in Chatham.  Uttering a false check, admitted to sufficient facts.  Guilty finding.  One year house of correction, committed.  Probation until September 20 2012.  Larceny over $250, admitted to sufficient facts.  Guilty finding.  One year house of correction, concurrent with first count.  Probation until September 20 2010.

SAGER, Hannah L, 19, 1301 State St Apt 1, Brewster; receiving stolen property over $250, December 29 2010 in Brewster.  Admitted to sufficient facts.  Continued without a finding until May 18 2012.

SHEPPARD, Ralph J, 51, 18 Shamrock Cir, Harwich; OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation May 15 in Orleans.  OUI, admitted to sufficient facts.  24D program.  Continued without a finding until May 18, 2012.  Negligent operation, dismissed.  Marked lanes, responsible.  Filed with defendant's consent.

WITZGALL, Brian A, 18, 38 Ellis Dr, Dennis Port; assault & battery, April 14 in Dennis.  Dismissed.

ARRAIGNMENTS

PERRY, Robert K,29, 7 Derry Park Dr., Apt. 706, Middleboro; arraigned in charges of leaving the scene after property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and unregistered uninsured motor vehicle on April 13 in Middleboro. Case continued to July 7 for pre-trial conference. According to the police report,  at 2:30am on April 13 Middleboro police were dispatched to the Rt.44 rotary for a report of a hit and run accident where the suspect allegedly sped off at a high rate of speed after crashing into another vehicle. The victim of the crash was able to get a partial plate number, a description of the motor vehicle and a description of the offending operator.  Perry was arrested after a brief investigation and search of the area.

CIECHESE, Lisa, 45, 410 Plymouth St., Bridgewater; arraigned on charges of leaving the scene after property damage, released on her own recognizance to await pre-trial conference on June 24. According to the police report, State police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Rt. 495 on April 15. The victim of the crash reported that he was able to get the license plate number of the vehicle that had sideswiped his truck and fled the scene. The vehicle was discovered several hours later, with damage consistent with the reported accident abandoned on Rt. 18 in Bridgewater. Ciechese allegedly called the state police barracks the following day and admitted her role in the accident.

SCRIMA, Danielle M, 35, 56 Pleasant St., Norwood; arraigned on charges of larceny over $250 , property of Best Buy. Scrima was habed in from MCI Framingham for her appearance to answer the charge. The case was disposed of today with Scrima receiving 1 year H/C, 5 months to serve, balance suspended with probation to May 13, 2013, restitution of $2,399 to Best Buy.  According to the police report, Wareham police were dispatched to Best Buy for a reported shoplifter who left the store with 8 IPOD “Touch” valued at $299 each. Video surveillance footage showed the suspect concealing the merchandise at the register and exiting the store. Further investigation of the surveillance footage of the parking lot revealed that the suspect had an accomplice. Photos of the suspects taken from the surveillance footage were posted on the website MA MOST WANTED, resulting in the identification of the suspects from numerous calls from loss prevention officers from Walmart, Stop and Shop and BJ’s Wholesale Club. Scrima’s alleged accomplice, Eric Caldwell, 40, of 44 Decartois St., Tewksbury, was arraigned on charges stemming from the Best Buy theft. Caldwell remains free on personal recognizance to await pretrial conference on June 30.

DISPOSITIONS

MALONE, Derek B, 20, 5 Cranberry Knoll, Plympton, and co-defendant TOWNSEND, Patrick, 20, 10 Harvest View, Carver had numerous drug charges disposed of from their arrest on February 21 in Middleboro. Malone had charges of possession with intent to distribute Class D substance, marijuana, possession of Class B substance, suboxone, conspiracy to violate drug laws and possession of Class C, klonotin all dismissed upon request of the Commonwealth. Malone admitted to sufficient facts, continued without a finding to May 18, 2012 on the single count of possession of Class B substance, Percocet. Townsend’s charge of conspiracy to violate drug laws and possession of class B substance were dismissed upon request of the Commonwealth. He admitted to sufficient facts to an additional charge of possession of class B substance, possession of class D, marijuana, with intent to distribute and possession of Class C, klonopin. The Judge ordered the forfeiture of $525 seized at the time of arrest, probation with drug testing to May 18, 2012. The incident and arrest stem from a motor vehicle stop and search on February 21 where the officer found probable cause to search the vehicle due to the strong odor of marijuana.

MORRILL, James, 48, 119 Sproat St., Middleboro; from a complaint issued March 4, Morrill entered a guilty plea to a charge of OUI 2nd offense from a motor vehicle stop by Middleboro police. Morrill received a sentence of 90 days H/C, suspended with probation to May 17, 2013, 14 day inpatient program and over $350 in assessments.
