ARRAIGNMENTS

CROCKER, Brian, 28,1131 Centere St., Middleboro; from a complaint issued July 14, Crocker wasarraigned on a charge of possession of a Class A drug, heroin. According to thepolice report, officers arrived at the Crocker residence with a warrant for theapprehension of Brian Crocker for matters unnamed and unrelated to hisarraignment. Upon arrival, Crocker's mother advised the officers that Brian wasasleep on the couch. Two "bags" (single dose glassine bags) of heroin allegedfell out of Crocker's jeans when an officer shook them upside down prior tohanding them to Crooker for him to get dressed to be taken into custody. Thecase was continued for pretrial conference.

SELL, Kathy M, 45,35 Macomber Ave., N. Dartmouth; from a complaint issued July 14 by Mattapoisettpolice, Sell was arraigned on charges of larceny over $250 by single scheme,forgery of a check and uttering false check in connection with the allegedtheft of $5,959 from On The Go Take Out, Inc, 50 Marion Rd., Mattapoisett, whereSell had been employed as a bookkeeper. According to the police report, Sell"admitted she knew what she was doing and that she was waiting to get caught."Sell was released on her own recognizance to appear for a pretrial conferenceon September 20.

CULLY, Scott R, 34,1057 Main St., W. Wareham; from an arrest on August 3 by State police, Cullywas arraigned on charges of OUI 2nd offense, negligent operation ofa motor vehicle and marked lane violation. Cully was released on his own recognizance to appear on September 16 forpretrial conference.

COLLINS, Matthew, 28,12 State St., Apt. 5C, E. Wareham; from an arrest on August 2, bail was set at $2,500 at Collins's arraignment on a charge of domestic assault andbattery. According to the police report, Wareham police were flagged down byCollins on Main St. who explained that he had just had an argument with hisgirlfriend, that he had pushed her and that he wanted the officer to go andcheck on her. During the interaction, the officer determined that Collins hadtwo outstanding warrants for his arrest. Collins was placed in handcuffs andtaken into custody. Further investigation indicated that the girlfriend allegedthat Collins punched and kicked her repeatedly knocking her unconscious. Thevictim was taken by ambulance to Tobey Hospital. Collins will be back in courton August 25 for pretrial conference.
