ARRAIGNMENTS

EDWARDS, Ervin C Jr, 29, 47 Thorwald Dr, S. Dennis; Class D drug posession with intent to distribute, marijuana; two counts, Class E drug possession, testosterone cyprionate and suboxone; no sticker, August 10 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for September 15.  According to police reports, a Barnstable officer on routine marked patrol pulled a black Mazda sedan over for an expired inspection sticker (March 2010).  The officer spotted a pipe loaded with what appeared to be marijuana, based on fhe fresh marijuana smell.  Also in Edwards' reach was a folding knife in the center console.  Police found four packaged syringes in a plastic bag inside Edwards' front left shorts pocket.  Police seized other evidence including a 10 millileter bottle of injectable testosterone.  Edwards was arrested.

FIZELL, Weldon R, 46, 162 Irving Ave, Hyannisport; OUI liquor; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; leaving the scene of property damage; marked lanes violation August 11 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for September 13.

CAMERON, Sheila M, 52, 1212 Alewife Cir, Yarmouth; assault & battery on a police officer; assault & battery; intimidating a witness; resisting arrest, August 11 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for September 12.

GLAWSON, Jean C, 21, 1212 Alewife Cir, Apt 121, S. Yarmouth; assault; assault on a police officer; resisting arrest, August 11 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for September 20.

MACNAYR, Jessica E, 30, 207 Division St, Harwich; Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, Percoset, May 7 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for September 8.

SHEA, Richard F, 56, 53 Brook St, Acton; OUI liquor, third offense; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; marked lanes violation, August 10 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for September 12.

WIINIKAINEN, Simon, 27, 21 Franbill Rd, Hyannis; OUI drugs; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; carrying a dangerous weapon, brass knuckles; Class A drug possession with intent to distribute, heroin, August 10 in Barnstable.  According to police reports, Wiinikainen was pulled over in a red Ford pickup after several callers reported he was "all over the road" (State Highway Route 6).  The Ford had a trailer in tow at the time.  A state trooper in pursuit saw the Ford cross the center line and fog line.  A search of the vehicle revealed several syringes, sixteen (16) grams of marijuana; one point five (1.5) grams of heroin, a small digital scale, a spoon with white residue,brass knuckles and a glass pipe with a packed bowl of marijuana.  Wiinikainen informed police he had taken seven point five (7.5) milligrams of oxycontin that morning for a leg cyst.  He was arrested. Editor's note: The drug quantities were originally listed as 16 grams of heroin, 1.5 grams of marijuana. The error has been corrected above.

DISPOSITIONS

HORTON, Shawn T, 25, 6 Sylvan Ln, W. Yarmouth; assault with a dangerous weapon, a large knife with a 4"+ long blade; threatening to commit a crime, May 29 in Barnstable.  Both counts dismissed.

NIEMISTO, Russell J, 24, 218 Center St, Dennis; larceny over 250 by false pretenses, March 24 in Barnstable.  Nollo prosequi.  No further information.

Indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years of age or older, abuse prevention violation, 1 year house of correction, anger management. Threat to commit a crime on July 11 in Bourne, dismissed.

CROWLEY-ROBSON, Adele, 48, 135 Scranton Ave,. Falmouth; larceny under $250, possession of a Class B drug ( Oxycontin), possession of a Class B drug (morphine) on July 1 in Falmouth. Dismissed, insufficient evidence.

DAVIS, Leah M, 20, 15 Pierre Vernier Dr., Sandwich; larceny under $250 (2 counts), uttering a false check (2 counts), breaking and entering a building (felony). Dismissed by request of the victim.

HOCKING, Juli B, 28, 65 Currier Rd., East Falmouth; operation under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle (dismissed by request of the Commonwealth), marked lanes violation, and speeding (not responsible) on August 8 in Falmouth. Continued without a finding until August 10 2012. 45 days loss of license.

LABOY, Luis A, 19, 43 Courtland St., Providence, RI; motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unsafe motor vehicle (not responsible), speeding (responsible), marked lanes (not responsible) on January 25 in Bourne. Dismissed placed on probation until August 09 2013.

NEMOTO, Karan A, 54, 21 Simpson Ln., Falmouth; disorderly conduct. Dismissed, to pay court costs by October 11 2011.

RICHIE, William F, 20, 162 Quaker Meeting House Rd., East Sandwich; operation under the influence of alcohol, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, possession of liquor on a person under 21 years of age, negligent operation of a motor vehicle on May 26 in Bourne. Continued without a finding for February 8 2012, 24 day program, 210 days loss of license.

RIORDON, Janet, 53, 11 Union St., Onset; shoplifting on July 28 in Bourne. Dismissed, pay restitution by September 7 2011.

ROBBINS, Austin, 23, West Yarmouth; false crime reported on April 4 in Falmouth. Dismissed upon court costs paid by October 11 2011.

STAPLES, Cory L, 18, 724 Sandwich Rd., East Falmouth; assault, assault and battery, assault and battery on a public employee on April 12 in Bourne. Dismissed, probation until February 10 2012.

THIBODEAU, Edwin L, 27, 95 Spring Bars Rd., Apt. 21, Falmouth; breaking and entering (felony), assault and battery (2 counts), intimidation of a witness, destruction of property over $250 on February 18 in Falmouth. Dismissed, failure of victim to cooperate.

ARRAIGNMENTS

FRATES, Adam M, 28, 116 Main St., Carver; from an arrest on August 11 by Norwell State Police, Frates was arraigned on charges of OUI, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and marked lane violation. Frates was released on his own recognizance to appear on September 21 for pretrial conference.

WARD, McKinley Jr, 18, 125 Minot Ave., Apt. 1, Wareham; from an arrest on August 10, Ward was arraigned on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and home invasion in connection with an out of control house party in Rochester. Ward was released on his own recognizance to appear on September 12 for pretrial conference.

WEBBER, Ilene R, 24 Oak Dr., Carver; from an arrest on August 10, Webber was arraigned on charges of OUI, marked lane violation and leaving the scene of property damage. According to the police report, Carver police responding to a report of an intoxicated female operating a motor vehicle found Webber at the Cumberland Farms in North Carver. The vehicle had extensive front end damage and blown out tires. Webber was taken into custody. She was released on her own recognizance to appear on September 14 for pretrial conference.

NETO, Janice l, 30, 21 Holmes St., Carver; from a complaint issued June 20 by Wareham police, Neto was arraigned on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, a knife, and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. Neto is due back in court on September 20 for pretrial conference.

BOWER, Joshua M, 24, 138 Summer St., Middleboro; from an arrest on August 10, Bower was arraigned on charges of statutory rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over. Bail was set at $2,500 for Bower's appearance on September 8.

INDICTED

GOMES, Shane O, 38, 10 E. Central Ave., Onset; from an arrest on April 28, Gomes was indicted by a Plymouth County Grand Jury on charges of distribution of a Class B drug, subsequent offense, and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Gomes has been held in the Plymouth County House of Correction on $10,000 bail since his arrest in April. The charges stem from an investigation by the Cape Cod Drug Task Force. Gomes allegedly sold $1,000 worth of cocaine to a state undercover narcotics officer in the parking lot of Lindsey's Restaurant.

DISPOSITIONS

ANDREWS, Rebecca, 57, 28 Nicholas Drive, Wareham; from an arrest on July 9, Andrews admitted to sufficient facts to a charge of OUI and marked lane violation. The court continued the case without a finding with probation to August 9, 2012. Andrews was ordered to forfeit her license for 45 days, pay $65 per month probation fee and $600 in fees and assessments.

BARRY, Robert, 28, 20 Andrews St., Onset; from an arrest on December 29, 2010, Barry entered a guilty plea to a charge of assault and battery. Barry was sentenced to 6 months house of correction, committed.

HARRIGAN, Jade A,  2727 Cranberry Highway, W. Wareham; Harrigan entered guilty pleas on 6 counts of receiving stolen property and 5 counts of larceny under $250 by false pretense. Harrigan was placed on probation until August 9, 2012. The charges stem from several pieces of stolen jewelry recovered from area pawn shops.
