ARRAIGNMENTS

DALTON, Carol A, 54, 56 Forest St. Apt. 2, Middleboro; from a complaint issued August 1 by Middleboro police, Dalton was arraigned on charges of leaving the scene of property damage, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and assault with a dangerous weapon. According to the police report, Middleboro police responding to a report of a damaged fuel pump at a service station were able to identify Dalton from video surveillance footage as the person who allegedly drove into the pump and left the scene. An investigation indicated that Dalton may have had an altercation with patrons of the Royal Café prior to the incident, leading to the assault charge. Pretrial conference was scheduled for October 5. The question of bail was undetermined at the time of this report.

ABBOTT, Darren, 23, 115 High St., Wareham; from a complaint issued July 27 by Wareham police, Abbott was arraigned on a charge of larceny over $250 by single scheme in connection with the recovery of over $15,000 worth of antique silverware, coins and jewelry stolen from a South Blvd. residence. According to the report, Abbott had allegedly been working in the residence at the time the merchandise was stolen.  A check of local antique shops revealed that Abbott allegedly used his own identification to sell off the goods. Pretrial was set for October 20 with the question of bail undetermined at the time of this report.

ROSSI, Apryl M, 32, 8 Acoaxet Lane, Wareham; from an arrest on August 19 by Wareham police, Rossi was arraigned on a charge of domestic assault and battery. Rossi was released on her own recognizance to appear on September 23 for pretrial conference.

DISPOSITIONS

THOMAS, Alfred A, 42, 241 France St., Middleboro; from a complaint issued March 29 by Middleboro police, Thomas entered a guilty plea on two counts of domestic assault and battery. Thomas was sentenced to 2 years house of correction. According to the report that Thomas acknowledged, and admitted to during his plea colloquy, Thomas beat the victim so severely that he ruptured her spleen. Thomas also received a two year house of correction sentence on a charge of witness intimidation. Thomas had been held since his arraignment on April 1 on $10,000 cash bail.

ARRAIGNMENTS

WOMBLE, Heather A, 20, 19 Shaw Rd., Carver; from an arrest on August 16 by Carver police, Womble was arraigned on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a knife, assault to murder and larceny under $250. According to the police report, Womble allegedly stabbed the victim during an altercation. Bail was to be determined later in the day for Womble's appearance on September 15 for pretrial conference.

SULLIVAN, Ashley A, 20, 17 Briggs Ave., Plymouth; from a complaint issued on July 26 by Plymouth police, Sullivan was arraigned on a charge of larceny under $250 in connection with the alleged theft of a car radio and change stolen from a vehicle on Lincoln Ave.

JAMES, Christopher, 22, 113 Lake Ave., E. Wareham; from a complaint issued August 5, James was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering, daytime for felony. According to the police report, James was identified from a photo taken of the alleged thief as he rode away from the scene of the crime on a bicycle.

DISPOSITIONS

MCGOUGH, Kayla M, 29 Dinah's Way, Wareham and CASEY, Adam D, 116 Laureston St., Brockton; from a complaint issued on February 15 by Wareham police, charges of possession of a counterfeit note were dismissed with payment of court costs of $100.

MORRISON, Timothy, 20, 6 Burgee Lane, Wareham; from an arrest on December 6, 2010, charges of unarmed burglary, destruction of property over $250, larceny of a building and larceny over $250 were dismissed without prejudice on a defense motion to suppress evidence.

ARRAIGNMENTS

BRIDGES, Robert J, 22, 114 Williams Way, Rochester; from an arrest on May 21, Bridges was arraigned on charges of OUI, open container in vehicle and marked lane violation in connection with a single-car crash on Mattapoisett Rd. back in May. Bridges was released on his own recognizance to appear on October 5 for pretrial conference.

TRIBOU, Nicholas D, 21, 11 Knowles Ave., E. Wareham; from an arrest on August 16 by Wareham police, Tribou was arraigned on a charge of domestic assault and battery. According to the police report, Tribou allegedly kicked the feet out from under the victim and placed her in a headlock, cutting off her air supply. Tribou was arraigned on his own recognizance to appear on September 21 for pretrial conference.

O'DONNELL, Janie M, 58, 16 Main St., Plympton; from an arrest on August 16 by Middleboro police, O'Donnell was arraigned on charges of OUI and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Pretrial conference was scheduled for October 5.

DISPOSITIONS

ROSE, Joseph L, 32, 157 Plymouth St., Bridgewater; from an arrest in March 2010, Rose was found guilty after a jury trial on a charge of OUI 3rd offense. The judge sentenced Rose to 2 years house of correction and imposed a $1,000 fine.

ARRAIGNMENTS

BRINKMAN, Paul R., 28, 80 Metcomet Way, Marshfield; from an arrest on August 19 by Halifax police, Brinkman was arraigned on charges of OUI, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lane violation, assault and battery on a public employee and threatening to commit a crime. Bail was set at $2,000 for Brinkman’s appearance on August 25 for pretrial conference. According to the police report, Halifax police were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Holmes St. At the scene, Brinkman allegedly showed a fake badge and identified himself as a Norfolk County Deputy Sherriff. Brinkman was taken into custody after officers determined he was intoxicated.

ARRAIGNMENTS

NEE, Edward, 18, 90 Quincy Shore Drive, Apt. 708, Quincy; from an arrest on August 17 by Marshfield police, Nee was arraigned on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. According to the police report, Marshfield police used mace to subdue Nee after responding to multiple 911 calls reporting a fight in progress by the tennis courts at Mariner’s Hill apartments. According to witnesses at the scene, Nee allegedly smashed the victims head against the pavement several times. Bail was set at $350 for Nee’s appearance on September 13 for pretrial conference.

GARUTI, Brian, 25, 54 Black Cat Rd., Plymouth; from a complaint issued June 27 by Plymouth police, Garuti was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting by asportation in connection with the alleged theft of merchandise totaling $355 from Walmart. According to the report, a Walmart employee gave chase on foot as far as Walmart’s policy would allow. The employee was able to provide police with a description of the vehicle used by the thief to flee the scene. Police arrested Garuti a short distance from the store. Garuti was released on his own recognizance to appear on October 23 for pretrial conference.

DISPOSITIONS

TAYLOR, Brian D, 31, 25 Samoset St., Apt. 2, Plymouth; from a complaint issued May 10 by Plymouth police, charges of rape and indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 were dismissed by the Commonwealth. The complaining witness failed to appear.

ARRAIGNMENTS

HAUTER, Julie E, 35, 138 Summer St., Apt. 4, Plymouth; from a complaint issued July 13 by Plymouth police, Hauter was arraigned on charges of larceny under $250 and 2 counts of receiving stolen property over $250. Pretrial conference was scheduled for September 21.

VENEZIA, Robert A, 24, 134 Sea View Dr., Plymouth; from a complaint issued on August 16 by Plymouth police, Venezia was arraigned on charges of OUI/drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession of Class A drug, subsequent offense, in connection with a single car accident. According to the police report, officers responding to the crash alleged that Venezia overdosed on heroin while operating the vehicle. Bail was set at $1,000 for Venezia’s appearance on September 7 for pretrial conference.

MIDDLETON, Nakia L, 217 Beaver Dam Rd. Apt. 12, Plymouth; from a complaint issued July 21 by Plymouth police, Middleton was arraigned on a charge of larceny over $250 in connection with the alleged theft of cash from the home of an acquaintance. Middleton is due back in court in September for pretrial conference.

MILLERICK, James M, 50, 566 Monponsett St., Hanson, currently held on $20,000 bail at the Plymouth County House of Correction on unrelated charges, arraigned on charges of open and gross lewdness. According to the report from the Plymouth County House of Correction, Millerick allegedly exposed himself to a female correctional officer.

ALEXANDER, Elizabeth A., 53, 7 Seven Hills Rd., Plymouth; from a complaint issued July 20 by Plymouth police; Alexander was arraigned on a charge of larceny over $250. Pretrial conference was scheduled for August 26.

DISPOSITIONS

WESTLAND, Robert G J., 861 Court St., Brockton; from a complaint issued in April by Duxbury police, Westland entered guilty pleas on charges of larceny over $250, breaking and entering in a building, larceny from a building, putting a person in fear, and two counts of uttering a false check. Westland was sentenced to one year house of correction, 6 months to serve, probation to August 15, 2013.
